Alanya

Alanya 

             Alanya seems   as a classical Turkish town. This is its bigest preference. Of course around the harbor and beaches dominated tourist attractions and hotels adapted to life for visitors, but the rest of the city is  authentically. You can  find here  normal shops, cafes and restaurants with good prices.

 

 

           Alanya  pôsobí  ako  klasické  turecké  mesto. V tomto  je  jeho  najväčšia  prednosť. Samozrejme  v  okolí  prístavu a  pláží  kde  dominujú  turistické  atrakcie a  hotely  je prispôsobené  životu  turistov, ostatná  časť  však  pôsobí  autenticky.

Nájdete tu normálne predajne, kaviarne a reštaurácie účtujúce celkom rozumné tureckej ceny.

            The town is situated between steep hills Taurus Mountains and the sea. Approximately 90 thousand inhabitants live there. Traffic in the city is little bit lively, but there is a  highway  around  the  city. Highway leads right at the foothills, so it is still in the city, but most of the city's transit traffic does not interfere. In addition there are from west to east, two wide streets, which can be termed boulevard. The southerly boulevard initialy leads along the sea. In area where is   a mountain with a castle it is liveliest street of Alanya with many shops.

               Mesto  sa  nachádza  medzi  prudkými kopcami pohoria  Taurus  a morom.  Odhadom  tu žije  približne   90 -tisíc obyvateľov.   Dopravný ruch nie je v meste úplne zanedbateľný, ale príjemný je obchvat. Obchvat vedie tesne na úpätí tých kopcov, takže síce je ešte v meste, ale väčšinu mesta tranzitná doprava neruší. Okrem obchvatu prechádzajú Alanyou od západu k východu dve široké ulice, ktoré  je  možné  nazvať  bulvárom. Ten južnejší bulvár vedie spočiatku pozdĺž mora. V miestach, kde okolo mora viesť nemôže ( tam je hora s hradom ) vytvára asi najživšiu  ulicu  Alanye s množstvom obchodíkov.

             Very interesting district is the northern slope of the castle hill. Rest of Alanya (except the castle and around the port) form the new building, but there are also older homes, small mosques and pretty gardens. The harbor is also a picturesque district, evidently built by the Greeks.  On the western outskirts of Alanya is a relatively large shoping centre, where you can relative  cheaply shopping.

            Veľmi zaujímavá štvrť je severnom úbočí hradného kopca.  Zvyšok Alanye ( okrem hradu a okolia prístavu ) tvoria novostavby, ale nájdu sa  tu aj staršie domy, malé mešity a pekné záhrady. Pri  prístave stojí tiež malebná štvrť, evidentne postavená Grékmi.
Na západnom okraji Alanye je relatívne veľký obchodný  dom, v ktorom je možné lacno nakupovať.

In Alanya and its surroundings are beautiful sandy beaches. They are  divided with hill and castle on the western and eastern part. Beaches are facing south with a straight coast. West Beach (also known as Cleopatra) is about 3 km long, east beach measures about 15 km and extends far beyond the city. The sea is quite shallow, so even 30 meters from the shore, it is possible to reach the bottom of the sea. Open coast wishes for big waves in windy weather.

            V  Alanyi  a jej okolí sú  nádherné  pieskové  pláže. Sú  rozdelené  kopcom s hradom   na  západnú  a  východnú  časť. Sú obrátené na juh  s rovným pobrežím. Západná  pláž ( nazývaná tiež Kleopatrina ) je asi 3 km dlhá , východná pláž meria asi 15 km a tiahne sa ďaleko za mesto.  More je celkom plytké, ešte tak 30 metrov od  brehu  je možné  dosiahnuť  na  dno mora.  Otvorené pobrežie praje za veterného počasia veľkým vlnám.

 On the western beach hotels are usually separated from the beach by the road. Access to the  beach is not complicated  by  trafic  because of subways under the  highway. On the eastern beach into the sea joins several rivers, one  is  only  2 km from the city. Clear cold fresh water is an interesting change and can be used instead of showers for desalting skin. On this small river is about 5 km away in the hills builds a new water dam, near the Dim cave. Public buses from Alanya towards Incekum, and Manavgat to Antalya leave very often, it is the about ten a day. For example, a ticket to Antalya is 10 YTL to Manavgat half. Because of  Alanya is quite long city along the sea, local buses  and  dolmus driven here regularly. Tickets cost a little over 1 YTL. 

            Na  západnej  pláži  sú  hotely  zväčša  od  pláže oddelené   cestnou  komunikáciou.  Pod  diaľnicou  však  priamo  od hotela  vedú  podchody, takže  prístup  ku pláži  nie  je komplikovaný  cestnou  premávkou. Na východnej pláži sa do mora vlieva niekoľko riečok, jedna väčšia asi len 2 km od mesta. Číra studená sladká voda je zaujímavá zmena a dá sa použiť namiesto sprchy na odsolenie kože. Na tejto riečke sa asi 5 km ďaleko v kopcoch stavia nová priehrada, kúsok od jaskyne Dim. Linkové autobusy z Alanye smerom na Incekum, Manavgat a do Antalye odchádzajú veľmi často,  ide  ich asi desať denne.  Lístok napríklad do Antalye stojí 10 YTL, do Manavgate polovicu.  Pretože je Alanya docela dlhé mesto rozložené pozdĺž mora, jazdia tu pravidelne lokálne autobusy a dolmuše. Na dolmuše sa máva. Lístok stojí niečo málo cez 1 YTL. Nie je potreba moc riešiť, odkiaľ kam dolmuš  ide,  pretože rovnako potrebujete len zo západu na východ alebo opačne (snáď s výnimkou hradu).
